CDC Truck Accessories are one of Britain’s longest serving truck accessory suppliers, having been trading for over 30 years. With four established retail outlets across the country, CDC were keen to improve their online offering which was previously based on a somewhat restrictive subscription-based Shopify eCommerce platform. Their previous website was not responsive but instead offered mobile users a very inferior solution resulting in very high bounce rates.

CDC approached us with a fairly extensive list of requirements for their new website, along with some rather eye-watering abandoned cart statistics which they were keen to resolve.

Our new Magento site has delivered in all areas. Being a single responsive website, mobile users now browse and purchase products on a regular basis. The business also benefits from the ability to offer cheaper prices to trade customers along with special promotions that include product bundles and 3-for-2 offers.

The client has been delighted with our ability to significantly reduce the amount of abandoned carts by improving the design and usability of the checkout process together with implementing Magento’s abandoned cart extension.
